VIII Forum of Professional Masters in Education – FOMPE

It happened during the days 1, 2 e 3 of september 2022, the VIII FOMPE meeting, hosted by UNB – University of Brasilia, when representatives from all universities in Brazil, who have a Professional Master's in Education, were invited to discuss the directions of the Stricto Sensu of the professional modality in education.

Representing the University of Taubaté - UNITAU the professors Profa. Dr. Ana Maria Correa Gimenes Calil (former coordinator) and teacher. Dr. Juliana Marcondes Bussolotti, current coordinator of the Professional Master's in Education - MPE.

Over the three days, considerations were made on the advances achieved so far and discussions and possibilities of facing the challenges that will be imposed on the courses in the coming years.. The programs that attended were imbued with thinking about regional propositions of education and the social impact of professional education programs, as a way to outline perspectives for researchers(as) in the relationship between the university, educational reality and four-year assessment.

for both, the program had the following proposal:

Day 01/09 – Opening Conference: The National Graduate Program (PNPG) and prospects for Professionals – with Dr. Diego Menezes – member of the current commission 2022 – 2032.

Day 02/09 – Mesa: Quadrennial Assessment: swing (2017 a 2020) and prospects for the current quadrennium – with Prof.. Dr. Angelo Souza (University of Paraná (UFTPR) and teacher. Dr. Flavia Orbino Correa Werle (UNISINOS).

Panel: Financing, search, internationalization and social impacts on the Programs

Working Groups on Technical Products, applied research, Social impacts of research, Internationalization and Financing.

Day 03/09 – Closing plenary session and creation of the FOMPE Rules and Internal Review Commission.
