Two days 17 a 19 july 2023 the IX National Seminar on Histories and Investigations of/in Mathematics Classes took place – Experiences and investigations of teaching and learning mathematics in the post-pandemic: what has changed? with the aim of listening to and discussing narratives and investigations of experiences of resuming in-person teaching, whether in mathematics teaching classes in different school contexts, whether in Higher Education or in the context of training teachers who teach mathematics. Emphasis was given to experiences and research focused: in structural changes, curricular and didactic-pedagogical events that occurred in relation to teaching prior to the pandemic; in teaching with technology in the post-pandemic; in the challenges faced by the teacher, about everything, in recovering from the delay in mathematical learning that occurred during the two years of the pandemic and in what each teacher chose to prioritize in this process; already (re)valorization of face-to-face teaching, particularly student attendance and socialization processes, by the entire school community; and in the collaborative work developed throughout these processes.
The idea of organizing this Seminar is an initiative of the Saturday Group (GdS). This group emerged in 1999 and brings together teachers who teach mathematics at all levels of basic education in public and private schools in the Campinas region, interested in reflecting, ler, investigate and write about mathematics teaching practice in schools, with academics from the university as collaborators (teachers, master's and doctoral students at FE/Unicamp) interested in investigating the process of continuous training and professional development of participants. The GdS published, in addition to several articles, four books. The third, which gave rise to the name of this seminar, was released during I SHIAM, in July of 2006. With the organization of this seminar, We hope to create a space so that other teachers can also share their written productions.

currently, the group continues writing narratives, because we verified that, when writing them, we produce meaning in what we teach and in what our students produce and learn in the classroom. Writing narratives helps us to evolve professionally and contribute to the development of knowledge of those who experience teaching in different school contexts.. GdS is a Subgroup of PRAPEM-CEMPEM (Pedagogical Practice in Mathematics – Memory and Research Study Circle in Mathematics Education) of FE/Unicamp and meets biweekly, on Saturday mornings, from 9am to 12pm, I don't block C, ground floor. This group is open to the participation of teachers interested in discussing mathematics education. And SHIAM is a space that expands this possibility of participation, being able to bring together mathematics teachers from all over Brazil.
Workshops were held at this event, posters, communication wheels, in addition to the launch of unpublished books or those published between the years of 2021 a 2023. The virtual launch started at 8:30 am on the day 17/07 and occurred throughout the event, in asynchronous format. The in-person launch took place on the day 18/07 on cocktail night from 7pm, Adunicamp restaurant. Among the books launched, we had the honor of having a production resulting from our Postgraduate Program Professional Masters in Education at the University of Taubaté – MPE UNITAU – Mathematics in early childhood education: 16 unconventional problem-solving proposals – developed by Professor Maria Teresa de Moura Ribeiro and Master Raissa Alexandra Lopes Duarte. At the event we had the illustrious presence of professor Doctor Sérgio Lorenzato among other great researchers in the field of Mathematics Education referred to in the book.
