Brazilians were in Paris immersed in Free Motricity training inspired by the Pikler Approach

This month of April, from 10 a 14, Brazilian students were in Paris immersed in training in Free Motricity inspired by the Pikler Approach, no Institut Paris Brune.

The approach was born from the Piklerian proposal around free motor skills, profoundly changing the way we look at babies and young children, like this, the baby is considered a competent person; able to take initiative and be an active partner in their own development. This constitution of a child influences institutional practices in the context of daycare centers, schools and care institutions. Placing the young child at the center of this reflection.
In this sense, the training objectives are to discover the fundamental principles of the Pikler Approach and identify the importance of free movement, of the autonomous activity of the baby and young child.
Our master's student Leandra Silva, MPE 23, I was with other Basic Education teachers from public schools in different parts of the country. They are part of Carmen Orofino's study group, who is a member of the Pikler Brasil Association. The other trainers are from France – Loczy França Institute.
