The University of Taubaté (UNITAU) hosted this Tuesday (18) The I Vale do Paraíba Education Forum. The event was held in the auditorium of the Department of Legal Sciences and brought together representatives of 39 Municipalities of the Vale do Paraíba Metropolitan Region.
The Forum was carried out by the Paraíba Valley Municipalities Association (Amvale) and by the Lucia and Pelerson Penido Foundation (Flush).

During the event, Education experts pointed out ways to improve education rates in the municipalities of Vale do Paraíba and the appreciation of the teacher. Among the speakers, Two UNITAU teachers had the word: prof. Dr. Cleusa Vieira da Costa (Professional Masters in Education) and prof. Dr. Silvio Luiz da Costa (Professional Master in Regional Management and Development). Both participated in the table “The teacher's central role in improving the quality of education”, next to Haroldo Rocha, Teaching Profession Coordinator.
Equuarda Pirido Dalla Vecchia, FLUPP President, points out that forums like this are the way to qualify education in Brazil. “It's a forum to think about education together, to mobilize people and move towards a quality education. The idea is that we can visit a systemic agenda of all sensitive education topics to guide secretaries and mayors to work on this agenda of a more sensitive and less unequal world.
