UNITAU masters hold a meeting with teachers from Vale do Paraíba with a focus on Basic Education

The fourth edition of the Vale do Paraíba Valley and Students Meeting (Wreck), organized by masters in applied linguistics (MLA) and professional in education (MPE) from the University of Taubaté (UNITAU), happens in the days 8 e 9 from November, in the Communication and Business Department (CEN). The event will be broadcast live on TV Unitau's channel at Youtube.

EPAVA is aimed at educators and students from the Paraíba Valley region and aims to promote reflections, dialogues, pedagogical practices and collective construction of knowledge, between teachers and students. This year, The central theme will be “multiple knowledge and languages ​​in basic education: dialogues about the environment and digital technologies ”.

“Epava is a space dedicated to educators, Both basic and higher education, Aimed at sharing experiences and challenges in the classroom and it is also an opportunity to participate in formative activities such as workshops and lectures aimed at important education issues, with a greater focus on basic education ”, states a prof. Dr. Luiz Guilherme de Brito Arduino, one of the event organizers.

Programming includes lecture, Workshop and Conversation Wheel

The first day of the event (8) It will be in person, starting at 14h, and opening with the lecture “The importance of dialogue between basic education and university: environment and technologies for the construction of new knowledge ”, With Prof. Dr. César Augusto Eugênio.

Already at 15h, The workshop “Mural of Dreams takes place: The future and I!”, With Prof. Me. Danilo Passos Santos and the prof. Dr. Rodolfo Meissner Rolando, and the conversation wheel “Discussions and Reflections: how digital technologies can be used for environmental issues and the construction of multiple knowledge ”, with Profa. Dr. Adriana Cintra de Carvalho Pinto, the teacher. Dr. Gisele Maria Souza Barachati, the teacher. Dr. Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro and Profa. Dr. Fabrina Moreira Silva.

On the second day (9), The activities will be online and there will be book launches of the Professional Master in Education and Master in Master in Applied Linguistics from 8:30 am, In addition to presentations of work at 10am.

This year's Epava is aligned with various sustainable development objectives (ODS) United Nations Organization (HIM), among them the ODS 4, aimed at inclusive education, equitable and quality for all; ODS 9, that fosters epistemological expansion, referring to industry tools and infrastructure; ODS 13, dealing with action against global climate change; e mosquit 15, which addresses the protection of terrestrial life.

“One of the main topics to be discussed in immersion is quality education, how to promote it, Focusing on Basic Education, but also adding the superior. How to provide and promote this education, improve school environments and student participation.
