The University of Taubaté (UNITAU) and the Taubaté City Hall hold the 73rd week(s) Monteiro Lobato. Aspecial programming It is divided into two steps: (Re)considerations, in between 14 e 17 of April, and Memories of Emilia, in between 24 e 27 the same month.
The events of (Re)Considerations propose a critical reinstruction of the author's work in the current scenario, valuing the role of the city of Taubaté - Lobato's homeland - as a memory space, Debate and Knowledge Production.
“Monteiro Lobato is controversial. It was controversial in its time, It's still controversial, and echoes both his work and his actions. With cultural activities, conferences, speeches, Pedagogical offices, literary events, exhibitions and artistic manifestations, The week has as its central axis the reevaluation of Lobato's work at national and local level.
The themes proposals contemplate both the first years of their trajectory and the impacts of their production in contemporary Brazil.
The opening conference will be conducted by Profa. Dr. Marisa Lajolo (Mackenzie Presbyterian University), with the theme “The many Monteiros and the various lobatos”, on Monday (14/04), From 20h to 21h30, in the Sedes Auditorium (Of. Good Amador da Vaiga, 220).
Unitau's actions will take place throughout the week with emphasis on the program promoted by the Master in Applied Linguistics, that will be held in the ODS room, in the Cen-Unitau building (Ernesto Pereira Expeditionary Street, 225), on Monday (14).
To assemble the programming, Unitau had an interdisciplinary work: five postgraduate programs participated in the organization. Undergraduate, History courses, Letters and Pedagogy will perform the pedagogical week in this period.
The 73rd week(s) Monteiro Lobato is held in articulation with the Monteiro Lobato Museum, that traditionally organizes activities aimed at children's public in this period. Department of Social Sciences Education Integral Week Monteiro Lobato with activities for undergraduate
Undergraduate, The Department of Social Sciences and Education of the University of Taubaté integrates, this year, The program of Monteiro Lobato Week. The initiative replaces the traditional Integrated Week of the Humanities Campus and aims to strengthen the participation of the academic community of the undergraduate courses in History, Letters and pedagogy in cultural activities that dialogue directly with teacher education.
