The Professional Master's Degree in Education (MPE) from the University of Taubaté (UNITAU) promotes, with the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics (PPMAT), Institute of Business Education (IBE) and Distance Learning Program (EAD), the lecture “The teaching of Mathematics with Digital Information and Communication Technologies: reflections on practice”. The presentation will be carried out in a on-line on the Zoom platform this Wednesday (27), at 7pm.

Dr. Elisangela Pavanelo, from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), In the presentation, the presentation will address the importance of a good theoretical foundation for the development of practice in the classroom and will give some examples of the use of technology in Mathematics classes.
“Digital Information and Communication Technologies (Tdics) are already a reality in students’ daily lives outside the classroom. Now, This also becomes a need within the classroom”, highlights the Professor. Dr. Elisangela, who teaches a degree in Mathematics.

The Profa. adds that the topic of discussion was chosen due to its relevance to current times, supplying the emergence of doubts that this subject can foster in the teacher's ongoing training.
“I think we can take advantage of the meeting to share experiences related to the topic, as well as discussing possible difficulties” concludes the teacher.
