V INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SEMINAR, VI MEETING OF GRADUATES, IV MEETING ON PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES IN BASIC EDUCATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL MASTERS IN EDUCATION

The Organizing Committee of the V International Education Seminar, VI Meeting of Graduates and IV Meeting of Pedagogical Practices in Basic Education of the Professional Master's Degree in Education (MPE) – UNITAU, with the theme “10 Years MPE”, invites you to submit works and participate as listeners.

The event will be held on the days 05, 06 e 07 december 2024, online.

Applications from basic education teachers will be accepted, undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers interested in sharing experiences and research aimed at developing pedagogical practices in basic education, with adherence to inclusive education, equity, diversity, local partnerships, regional and international and teacher training.

Works that demonstrate the practical application of experiences acquired at MPE UNITAU, other stricto sensu education programs, in addition to collaborative practices of basic education teachers in local partnerships, regional and international with Universities and other organizations, will be valued by the Organizing Committee.

The event seeks to reflect the social impact of the MPE, celebrating your 10 years of operation, and will be a space to strengthen dialogue between university and school, in addition to promoting the continuous training of teachers.

2. objectives

2.1. General Objective

Promote a space for the presentation and discussion of research and reports of experiences that contribute to collective reflection on basic education as a field of research and teacher training, in addition to bringing the university closer to the school.

2.2. Specific Objectives

Reflect on post-pandemic pedagogical practices, valuing the knowledge of basic education teachers.

Expand the debate on inclusion, equity and diversity in education, in initial and continuing training.

Highlight local partnerships, regional and international and educational exchanges that bring new perspectives to teaching practice.

3. Thematic Axes

Submitted works must fit into one of the following thematic axes:

Axle 1 - Child education

Axle 2 – Early Years of Elementary School

Axle 3 – Final Years of Elementary School

Axle 4 - High school

Axle 5 – Technical and Vocational Education

Axle 6 – Inclusive Education and Diversity

Axle 7 - Teacher training

Axle 8 - School management

Axle 9 – FISH

Axle 10 – Local partnerships, Regional and International Educational Exchanges

4. Participation Modalities

4.1. Presentation of Works

Teachers and future teachers of undergraduate courses can participate, researchers interested in sharing their pedagogical practices or research in the areas of basic education, school management, teacher training, or in pedagogical practices resulting from national partnerships, international and other exchanges.

4.2. Listener

Those interested in participating as listeners can attend the lectures, round tables and communication sessions.

5. Registration

5.1. Listener Mode

Interested parties must register using the registration form available on this event website..

5.2. Type of Work Presentation

Those interested in submitting work must fill out the registration form available on the website and send an Expanded Summary and Simple Summary of Experience Reports, according to the submission guidelines.

5.3. General information

Registration is free.

Participants in the work presentation modality will be entitled to a certificate of presentation and participation of 10 hours, as long as they participate in 75% of event activities.

Listener participants will also be entitled to a certificate of 10 hours, with the same minimum presence requirement.

6. Selection of Works and Publication

All works that meet the standards described in the Submission will be approved for presentation, after evaluation by the scientific committee. The approved expanded abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of the V International Education Seminar, VI Meeting of Graduates and IV Meeting of Pedagogical Practices in Basic Education of the Professional Master's Degree in Education (MPE) – UNITAU, which will have ISBN.

The selected works will be announced on the day 02 december 2024, on the event website.

7. Rules for Presentation of Works

Each presentation will last a maximum of 10 minutes.

Presentations will be held online, with the possibility of using slides.

Communication sessions will be organized by thematic axis, and the works will be grouped into blocks of similar themes.

The mediation of the sessions will be led by teachers, active students and graduates of MPE.

8. Preliminary Schedule

05/12/2024 (Thursday): Opening of the event, international lecture at the V International Education Seminar and round tables on inclusive and equitable pedagogical practices.

06/12/2024 (Friday): Table at the VI Alumni Meeting and lectures on educational partnerships and international exchanges (Germany and Angola).

07/12/2024 (Saturday): Presentations of work in the afternoon on thematic axes constituting debate tables on pedagogical practices.

9. Final Provisions

The authors authorize the publication of the works in electronic and/or printed media.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the schedule and terms of the notice, disclosing any changes on the event's official website.

Omitted cases will be resolved by the Organizing Committee.
