Professors Juliana Marcondes Bussolotti and Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro were present at the National Forum of Coordinators of Postgraduate Programs in Education (Forpred), held during the 42nd ANPEd National Meeting at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), in João Pessoa, in the days 25 e 26 October 2025. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration and exchange of experiences between educational institutions, bringing together coordinators and educators from different parts of Brazil.
During discussions, new CAPES guidelines were published for the evaluation of postgraduate programs, with an emphasis on the need for affirmative actions that guarantee greater inclusion and diversity in training. These guidelines aim to strengthen the role of postgraduate programs in training professionals ready to face the challenges of contemporary education.
The participation of teachers in Forpred enriched the debate on postgraduate policies, and represented an important step for the MPE, aligning national discussions and promoting visibility in the educational scenario.
