It was for this purpose that students of the Professional Master in Education (MPE) from the University of Taubaté (UNITAU) developed the activity “sustainability in action: An interdisciplinary collaborative approach ”at the opening of Ecodevelopment Week, for masters in ecodes development and environmental management from different parts of the country.
Coordinated by. Dr. Willian José Ferreira, Professor of the two Master programs at UNITAU, The activity carried out last Tuesday (19), It was attended by MPE Master's students and teachers Anderson de Moraes Fonseca and Maiara da Silva Galeano. The program began with the dynamic “Party Circles”, stimulating teamwork, The active listening, empathy and respect for individual contributions. The initial approach prepared participants to collaborate effectively and equitably throughout the following steps.
Following, Master's students in ecodes -development were challenged to work in groups in the construction of water filter prototypes, respecting limitations of materials and costs, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinarity and sustainability. The action promoted the development of collaborative skills, reflective and technical, integrating knowledge of the areas of education and environmental sciences.
Master's students in education acted as mentors during the activity, and used pedagogical experience as teachers to stimulate equitable and inclusive practices in group work, contributing to the depth of discussions and the success of the results achieved.
