MPE invites to the launch of the collection To the left of the Brazilian Armed Forces. More than a collection of books: It is a tool for resistance to historical erasure and authoritarian revisionism. Through exciting and strictly documented narratives, The work illuminates neglected aspects of Brazilian history, as ideological plurality in the Armed Forces and the struggle for justice and memory.
With the proximity of historical landmarks, like the 60 years of the military coup of 1964, os 45 years of the amnesty law and the 40 Years of Directs already, This collection emerges as an essential reading to understand the struggles and setbacks of Brazilian democracy.
The project was awarded by the São Paulo State Cultural Action Program (PROAC) in 2023, In the Literature Category Non -Fiction, coordinated by prof. Dr. Andréa Paula dos Santos de Oliveira Kamensky, in partnership with Profa. Dr. Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro, Assistant Coordinator of the Professional Master in Education (MPE).
